All text tools, in one place

17 free tools to count, transform, compare and convert text.

One toolkit, seventeen jobs, zero uploads

Every tool on this page runs inside your browser tab. There is no upload step, no processing queue and no server round-trip — open your browser's network panel while you work and you will watch nothing leave the machine. That is an architectural fact rather than a privacy promise: the components doing the work contain no network calls at all, so there is nowhere for your text to be sent even by accident.

  • Unicode-correct counting. Word counts come from Intl.Segmenter, the browser's own word-boundary implementation, so accented text, emoji and CJK are measured properly instead of being guessed at with a space split.

  • Large documents stay responsive. The two heaviest jobs — keyword density and dummy-data generation — hand their work to a Web Worker, so a manuscript-sized paste is processed without the interface freezing mid-keystroke.

  • Consistent numbers across tools. The Word Counter, Word Frequency, Diff Checker and Writing Goal Tracker all share one segmenter, so they never disagree about how many words you just pasted.

  • No account, no quota. Nothing here asks for an email address, and there is no character cap, row limit or daily allowance waiting to interrupt you.

  • Chainable by design. The output of one tool is the input of the next — fix the spacing, sort the lines, drop the duplicates — without a file ever touching disk.

Finding the right tool

  1. 1

Start from a category. Analyze measures text you already have, Transform rewrites it, Compare & Edit diffs and patches it, Convert changes its format, and Generate produces new text from scratch.

  2. 2

Or skip browsing entirely: press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) anywhere on the site and type the job — duplicates, slug, readability — to jump straight to the tool that does it.

  3. 3

Paste your text and read the result. There is no submit button anywhere on this site; every tool recalculates as you type.

  4. 4

Chain tools when one pass is not enough. A typical cleanup after copying out of a PDF is Fix Spaces, then Sort Lines, then Remove Duplicates.
